Hi there:
I
am the administrative assistant at Brookside, the Saratoga County Historical
Society and I wanted to bring an artistic program to your attention! We are
administering a program where we are seeking art work in the form of a tree
ornament, that represents Saratoga County. It's a juried project, but the
winning piece will be displayed on the state tree in Albany. If any kids are
interested in this it could be a great project -- maybe even a class
collaborative or something... Could be a great resume builder, or just for fun.

musical based on the award winning children's book by Roald Dahl
Enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka stages a contest by
hiding five golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whoever
comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka Factory as well
as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are
insufferable brats: but the fifth is a likable young lad named Charlie Bucket
who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather.

I recently went to the new, fun painting studio Saratoga Sip and Paint! For those of you who have not been there yet, it is a lot of fun. You pay a fee up front, and they supply you with acrylic paints, canvas, brushes, and the instructor. You then get to paint a wonderful painting and take it home when you leave!
